South Korean trading powerhouse POSCO International has initiated a pilot program to bring real-world corporate receivables onto the blockchain, partnering with enterprise IT service provider LG CNS. The joint initiative leverages the Injective network to tokenize active commercial trade invoices, marking a notable step toward integrating decentralized ledger technology into traditional enterprise finance.
Under the pilot framework, commercial invoices representing unpaid accounts receivable are transformed into digital tokens on the Injective blockchain. By converting traditional paper and corporate database records into cryptographic assets, the companies aim to explore how blockchain infrastructure can streamline supply chain financing, operational auditability, and liquidity management for major industrial operations.
POSCO International, one of South Korea's largest international trading entities, provides the real-world trade data and commercial assets required for the live operational test. LG CNS, the enterprise technology arm of LG Group, acts as the integration partner, facilitating the technical architecture required to bridge legacy corporate systems with the Injective protocol.
The selection of Injective highlights growing enterprise interest in specialized blockchain networks built specifically for financial applications.
