Strategy released a Bitcoin guide that pitches the coin as a global reserve asset. That's a big claim. It puts Bitcoin next to dollars and gold as money that firms and countries hold for safety.
Strategy frames Bitcoin as money for any border
A reserve asset is simple. It's something you can sell fast when you need cash. So it must hold value over time and move without asking a bank for help.
Strategy's case, as described by News.bitcoin.com, is that Bitcoin fits that job. It runs on its own ledger and it settles across borders without a central clearer. And a firm can hold it directly, which means no custodian has to approve a transfer for it to count.
A small stake grew large as a big warning stayed on
Tom Lee says a 2% Bitcoin bet quietly became 85% of the portfolio. That's how math works when one holding runs hard. So a small start can end up driving most of the result, for better and for worse.
McGlone warns an SPX pullback could send Bitcoin to $10K. Cryptopotato calls this a make-or-break week for BTC. But neither view gives a firm date, so traders are watching stocks for the next cue.
Fake coins and exposed servers tested trust
Cryptoslate reports hackers minted trillions in fake Bitcoin. The same outlet puts the bridge recovery at 15 BTC. Liquidity providers remain unpaid, which means the people who stocked the bridge pool are the ones still carrying the loss.
Cryptoslate also reports malicious bots are probing exposed Bitcoin payment servers. They are hunting for master administrative keys. Once a key leaks, an attacker can change settings or reroute payments, so closing net access matters more than cleaning up later.
Attention drifted to new bets and courtrooms
BeInCrypto reports Kevin O'Leary's new investment is not Bitcoin or stocks. News.bitcoin.com notes LAPTOP has entered the memecoin frenzy. And attention is scarce, so money can drift even while Bitcoin's bigger story stays intact.
News.bitcoin.com puts a crypto heist at $245 million with guilty pleas now entered. A plea ends the court fight over who did it. It does not move funds back by itself, so victims still wait on recovery rules and payout order.
Watch $10K as the downside marker McGlone named and the payout queue for the 15 BTC that Cryptoslate flagged. If stocks hold, Bitcoin gets room to press its reserve case. If they slip, that $10K talk will get louder fast.
