Tonkeeper has rebranded as Keeper and added native support for Bitcoin and Ethereum alongside five other networks, expanding from a TON-focused wallet to a seven-chain custody platform. The move places the wallet in direct competition with Trust Wallet and MetaMask for users who hold assets across multiple Layer 1 blockchains.
Keeper now supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, TON, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Base according to the company announcement. The wallet previously served the TON ecosystem with features like staking, token swaps, and NFT management.
Adding the two largest networks by market cap, Bitcoin at $1.55 trillion and Ethereum at $302 billion, addresses a persistent friction point for holders who maintain separate wallets for different chains.
Bitcoin traded at $76,952 at 14:00 UTC on September 15, down 1.2% in 24 hours and 1.9% over the past week per CoinGecko. Ethereum changed hands at $2,475, declining 1.8% on the day and flat over seven days.
Total crypto market capitalization fell 3.5% to $2.62 trillion with 24-hour volume of $89.5 billion, reflecting broad risk-off sentiment across digital assets.

The seven-network approach mirrors the strategy that drove Trust Wallet to 60 million users and MetaMask to 30 million monthly active users. Keeper differentiates by maintaining non-custodial architecture across all supported chains while integrating TON-specific primitives like Jettons and TON DNS.
The wallet also retains its built-in decentralized exchange aggregator, which now routes swaps across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and EVM-compatible networks.
Adoption will depend on whether Keeper can match the dApp connectivity depth of MetaMask on Ethereum and the hardware wallet integrations that Bitcoin users expect. The company has not disclosed user migration numbers from the Tonkeeper brand.
A key test comes with the next TON network upgrade, which will require wallet-side support for new transaction formats, a compatibility checkpoint that could accelerate or stall the rebrand's momentum.
