Position size calculator
Size a position from account risk and stop distance. Uses live multi-source price as a seed when available — not a trade recommendation.
Enter account, risk %, entry, and a different stop price to size the position.
How this is calculated
Risk budget = account size × risk %. Stop distance = |entry − stop|. Position size (units) = risk budget ÷ stop distance. Notional = units × entry price. This tells you how large a position to open so that, if the stop is hit, you lose no more than your chosen risk percentage of account equity — it does not include fees, slippage, or the possibility of a stop failing to fill at the exact price.
